Columbus DUI Checkpoints Tonight on Riverside Drive and Sawmill Road

You may remember the recentColumbus Police Department DUI Task Force Disbanded post to our facebook page regarding the Columbus Police Department no longer maintaining an OVI Task force. While we noted that dismantling of this program may reduce the number of DUI checkpoints in Columbus, it is important to understand that DUI checkpoints in Columbus and its surrounding communities will still be a regular occurrence as CPD still plans to participate with the Franklin County DUI Task Force. In Fact, tonight you can expect to see 2 DUI checkpoints in Columbus, Ohio.  Like our facebook page for regular DUI checkpoint notifications and other information which may be of interest.

Both DUI Checkpoints will operate from 8:30 p.m. – 1:30 a.m.

The locations of the two DUI Checkpoints in Columbus tonight are:

Riverside Drive, north of Bethel Road

Sawmill Road, north of I-270
